Houston Astros get 5 days off before facing Seattle-Toronto wild-card winner in 2022 AL Division Series!

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Astros director Dusty Becker is looking forward to something in a few days, and it’s not just another playoff round.

“The moon is full in two days, and I believe in that power,” Becker said after Wednesday’s 3-2 win over the Phillies. This was his team’s 106th win this season. It’s the winning team Becker has ever had.

As the top seed in the MLS post-season, the Astros now have five full days off before the MLS top-five open on Tuesday, October 11.

“Just win,” Baker said of the message he’ll share with his team. “I don’t really write a letter or anything. I kind of outline and say whatever comes to my mind and heart. We’re winning, we’re not really sexy. We’re winning. We’re winning as a unit. I just hope we get excited as we go into the playoffs here. I’m I’m sure of that.”

The Astros face the winner of the best three-episode series this weekend in Toronto between the Blue Jays and the Seattle Mariners. Whichever team exits from the series travels to Houston to play games 1 and 2 of ALDS.
